What you'll be doing
Working as a Creative Copywriter for the Faces Marketing team, you will craft copy that represents our brand's voice for day-to-day tasks and campaigns.
Working within the Marketing team, as well as cross-functional teams, you will deliver key messaging for key projects across channels, whilst ensuring the messaging reflects our larger brand and business objectives. As one of our brand writers, you will be an important contributor to the brands' content and customer experience, providing copy that's creative, engaging, relevant and considerate of the customer journey/mindset.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to write content that aligns with our editorial voice and brand positioning, while understanding the larger business objectives.
- Conceptualize and write campaign messaging framework, and executional messaging across e-com site pages, digital marketing assets, OOH, VM, CRM and all other channels.
- Write clear, high-quality, compelling copy that is native for the various mediums
- Work within the creative team to build campaign concepts
- Content writing on new product launches, promotions, beauty advice, trends and more
- Support business growth and creative evolution by monitoring industry trends and providing concepts that help the brand remain fresh, competitive, and forward-thinking.
- Helps customers better understand our brands and key value propositions; always considers customer pain points when developing content.
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to write copy in both English and Arabic.
- Can think differently
- Creative copywriting experience withing the retail industry is a plus
- Strong storytelling abilities. Ability to show a passion for telling a good story, and romancing products and brands.
- Can take projects from concept to completion. You're a good planner and writer who sees the big picture without missing the little details.
- Can weave facts into engaging copy
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong interpersonal skills. You're able to work with different teams/functions towards a common goal.
- Can navigate fast-paced, creative, collaborative environments.
- Detail- and deadline-driven.
- Works well independently, but also comfortable taking direction from others.
